The first New England Networking and Systems Day, NENS’14, will be held on October 24th, 2014, at the Boston University Rafik B. Hariri Institute for Computing and Computational Science & Engineering, located on the eastern end of the Math & Computer Science (MCS) Building at 111 Cummington Mall, Boston, MA 02215.
Please arrive early. The schedule is tight, and you should be sitting down by 9 am.
If you are presenting a poster, you should assemble it before the sessions start, between 8 and 9 am.
If you are giving a talk, you should check with your session chair (see the program) to copy your talk files to the presenting computer.
New: A note about space: We encourage you to attend the talks that interest you, but we do not expect everyone to attend every talk. (In fact, there isn’t enough space in the main presentation room for this.) Rather, we will have multiple spaces outside of the main presentation room where you can chat with others and check out posters, both during and between talks. One of these spaces will also have a video feed streaming the talks from the main presentation room.
We will provide coffee/tea, lunch and snacks during the day, and there will be an informal gathering at one (or more) bars after the event. We look forward to seeing you Friday!
For detailed times see the program.
Check out the NENS’14 Bar List, for the get together after the long day!
